www.tfnhl.com/tfnhl12/TFNHL12-Farm-182.html7. Lowell Devils , Jody Shelley 6 (Zach Hamill, Rob Davison) at 1:51 (PP) 8. Providence Bruins , Unknown Player 1 (Nick Boynton, Martins Karsums) at 4:28 (PP) 9. Providence Bruins , Martins Karsums 5 (Luca Sbisa) at 15:43 10. Providence Bruins , Luca Sbisa 1 (Martins Karsums, Ryan Wilson) at 19:41 (Empty Net) Who is Unknown Player? When I downloaded the GM files, I noticed that some spots in my lineup were blank although when I submitted them there were players in the lineup. Why is this?

Per your email, you are correct in that you have too many injured guys on the farm team and now not enough guys to make all your lines. This happens from time to time, especially on the farm. That's one reason why we encourage you to keep a full farm, so that if the same happens to your pro team, you have a pool of players from which to draw without messing up the SIM. On the farm, it is acceptable to submit lines with "Unknown Player" (or players) in the lineup. I believe these guys have an OV of 50 or thereabouts, but don't quote me on that. If I were you, I'd think about a possible trade (not talking anything major here... maybe trade a pick or a prospect for a decent player with some upside), or you can peruse the 'Unassigned List' www.tfnhl.com/tfnhl12/TFNHL12-Unassigned.html to sign an extra body, or just send stick with what you've got and play with the Unknown Player(s). Some teams do that all the time: www.tfnhl.com/tfnhl12/TFNHL12-FarmTeamLines.html#IowaChopswww.tfnhl.com/tfnhl12/TFNHL12-FarmTeamLines.html#RockfordIcehogswww.tfnhl.com/tfnhl12/TFNHL12-FarmTeamLines.html#LakeErieMonstersIt's not ideal, but it's not the end of the world either. Take action to correct the situation as best you can, if you see fit. Otherwise, don't sweat it.

Thanks!
How do I use these Unknown Players? Do I just leave the spot blank?

"Unknown player" and "Unknown goalie" should appear in the left window where the players are listed (when you make your lines). Just select "Unknown player" and use it to fill all the empty spots in your lineup. Same with the goalie. The thing I always wondered is : if you fill multiple spots with "unknown player" and different "spots" score goals, do they all give them to one "unknown player" in the game summary? ;D

Oh. Then I guess if I ever hire him, I better not give him performance bonuses. ;D

I don't see Unknown Players in the Edit Lines screen.
